Tiba Aynechi biography
Dr. Tiba Aynechi serves as Director of the Company. Dr. Aynechi is employed as a senior partner at Novo Ventures (US) Inc. (“Novo Ventures”), which provides certain consultancy services to Novo Holdings A/S (“Novo”), a Danish limited liability company that manages investments and financial assets. Prior to joining Novo Ventures (US) Inc. in March 2010, Dr. Aynechi was employed from June 2006 to March 2010 by Burrill & Company, a financial firm specializing in biotechnology and life sciences investment, in various positions, including from January 2009 to March 2010 as a director in merchant banking where she was responsible for regional and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and financing transactions. Dr. Aynechi served as a director at iRhythm Technologies, Inc., a public digital healthcare company, from May 2014 to April 2017. She served as director of AnaptysBio, Inc., a biotechnology company, from April 2015 until its initial public offering in January 2017. She has also served as a member of the board of directors of several private biotechnology and medical device companies. Dr. Aynechi received her Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco, where her research involved developing computational methods for drug discovery. She received her B.S. in physics from the University of California, Irvine.
