Bio:
Jared Goff (born October 14, 1994 in Novato, California) is an American football player. Jared grew up in California and it was clear he was destined to play football. He combined to throw over 7,500 yards and 93 touchdowns during three varisty seasons at Marin Catholic High School, finishing with an 39-4 overall record. In high school, he appeared in one state title game, one North Coast Section crown, three NCS Playoff appearances and three MCAL championships. Colleges like Boise State, Fresno State and Washington State, before enrolling at the University of California at Berkeley to play for the Golden Bears. He was named starting quarterback for the 2013 season, becoming the first true freshman quarterback in school history to start a season opener. Though his team finished 1-11 for the season, Jared set records for single-season passing yards, most yardage gained, most passes completed and most passes attempted. In 2015, Jared led the team to their first winning season since 2011. After the season, while still a junior, Jared declared he would enter the 2016 NFL draft.
